Carshae Dahl is an associate in the Tax Department of Latham & Watkins’ Chicago office. Her practice focuses on executive compensation and employee benefits matters. Ms. Dahl’s experience includes the design, implementation and administration of tax-qualified plans, non-qualified plans, deferred compensation plans and arrangements, executive employment agreements, change in control agreements, stock options, and other equity or cash based incentive plans. In addition, she represents clients with respect to employee benefits and compensation aspects of mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, initial public offerings and other corporate transactions.
Ms. Dahl has also devoted considerable time to pro bono work assisting organizations with obtaining tax exempt status and representing low-income taxpayers in their disputes with the Internal Revenue Service.
While attending the University of Chicago Law School, Ms. Dahl served as Staff Member, and later as Managing Editor for the Chicago Journal of International Law.
Ms. Dahl is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
