Joseph Calabrese and Christopher Brearton selected for their accomplishments and continuing leadership on transactional matters.
Latham & Watkins partners Joseph Calabrese and Christopher Brearton have once again been recognized as top transactional lawyers in the entertainment sector in Variety’s “Legal Impact Report,” an annual feature that “salutes lawyers who have made a difference.”

Calabrese, who chairs the firm’s global Entertainment, Sports & Media practice, was cited as “a longtime leader in the area of major entertainment and sports deals” who advised clients during the past year on matters that have included content agreements for broadcast television, regional sports channel agreements for professional teams, and acquisitions by entertainment companies.

Brearton, Deputy Office Managing Partner in the firm's Century City office, was noted for TV and digital work, including his expanding practice outside of the United States, exemplified by his recent advice to China’s leading online service provider in a multi-year deal for digital TV rights to National Basketball Association content.
