The Women in Law Empowerment Forum (“WILEF”) has selected Latham & Watkins to receive its Gold Standard Certification Award, an initiative designed to certify, recognize and publicize firms that appoint women to the highest leadership positions within the legal profession. The 50 law firms awarded certification were selected based on criteria that includes a meaningful percentage of women as equity partners, females serving in leadership positions and other benchmarks. WILEF is dedicated to assisting women in law to assume leadership roles in private law firms and corporate legal departments, as well as within their respective communities.
