The firm garnered the #1 ranking for overall representation of both borrowers and lenders in acquisition finance by number of deals, with 16 deals valued at $21.9 billion. For lender representation in acquisition finance, the firm ranked #1 by number of deals (12) and #1 by deal value ($19.5 billion). Latham & Watkins also advised on 46 leveraged finance deals valued at $33.5 billion, landing among the top 3 firms in overall leveraged finance representation by number of deals and by value.
