Rheem Brooks is a corporate associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Rheem represents public and private companies, private equity sponsors, and strategic investors in a range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, and the investment, acquisition, and sale of professional sports and entertainment assets. 

Rheem earned her JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where she was Managing Editor of the Journal of Law and Innovation, Academic and Professionalism Co-Chair of the Black Law Student Association, Co-Director of the Youth Advocacy Project, and an inaugural Dr. Sadie T.M. Alexander Scholar. 

Prior to law school, Rheem was the Chief Paralegal at the Federal Defenders of the Southern District of New York (SDNY). 

Prior to joining Latham full-time, Rheem was a summer associate in the New York office.
