The Lawyer Names Latham City Firm of the Year for Second Year in Succession

Latham & Watkins has been named City Firm of the Year at The Lawyer Awards 2021 for the second year in succession. The annual awards celebrate legal excellence presented by law firms, legal teams, and individuals in Europe.

The Lawyer commended the firm’s continued growth and success in London and highlighted its abiding commitment to pro bono in every area of public interest law, including anti-human trafficking, asylum and immigration, children’s rights, civil rights, criminal justice, domestic violence, and Windrush reparations, among others.

Latham was also highly commended in the Transatlantic Corporate Team of the Year category for advising NVIDIA on its acquisition of Arm Limited from SoftBank in a cash and stock deal valued at up to US$40 billion, the largest semiconductor deal in history, and was shortlisted in the Litigation Team of the Year, Competition & Regulatory Team of the Year, and Pro Bono Initiative of the Year categories.
