Experience

Tracy K. Edmonson is a partner in the London office, was the Global Recruiting Chair from 2003-2005 and Chair of the San Francisco Corporate Department from 2002-2006. Ms. Edmonson's practice focuses primarily on corporate finance, with particular focus on high-yield debt offerings, debt tender offers and consent solicitations, equity-linked securities and complex restructurings.  She also advises numerous companies on a variety of general corporate issues, including securities law compliance, financings and corporate governance.

Her company clients include Nike, Safeway, Owens-Illinois, Sistema, Mobile Telesystems, Yara International, Versatel and Norsk Hydro.  She also frequently represents underwriters and lenders, including UBS, Citigroup and Credit Suisse, in acquisition financings, and debt, equity and derivatives offerings.

Ms. Edmonson's restructuring practice includes advising companies, bondholders, bondholder committees and financial advisors in connection with all aspects of a restructuring.

Her transactions often include a cross-border component -recently involving Canada, India, Russia, Scandinavia and Italy.

Ms. Edmonson is recognized by The Chambers Client's Guide to USA, America's Leading Lawyers for Business (2007 and 2008) as a top tier Capital Markets attorney and is listed in the 2008 edition of Best Lawyers in America in the specialty of Securities Law. She has also been listed in The Daily Journal's "Top 20 under 40" and in Who's Who Legal: California 2007 as one of California's Leading Capital Markets Practitioners.

Ms. Edmonson's move to London was also noted in the Legal 500 UK 2009 edition.

Ms. Edmonson is a sought-after commentator on industry and legal trends and a frequent public speaker.  She has been a guest lecturer for Kenneth Klee's Strategic Negotiations at UCLA and at the Berkeley Center for Law, Business and the Economy on Capital Markets Transactions.  She also regularly appears on Practicing Law Institute and the European High Yield Association panels and addressed the Minnesota State Bar Association in 2008 on "The State of the Capital Markets."
