Experience

Christopher R. Drewry is an associate based in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the firm’s Corporate Department.  His practice includes representing private equity firms, corporations and investment banks in public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, takeover defense counseling and joint ventures. Representative clients include Energy Capital Partners, American Airlines, Leap Wireless and UBS Investment Bank.

Mr. Drewry has co-authored a series of articles on shareholder rights plans analyzing new poison pill technologies developed to address evolving threats to corporations and in response to the first triggering of a modern poison pill:
